Welcome to 2020, a new year but also the start of a brand-new decade! It’s naturally a great time to reflect on how the previous 12 months went for us and our grand plans for CENA outdoor kitchens going forward.

The foundation of CENA outdoor kitchens

CENA was founded with the aim of sharing our passion for outdoor cooking with the world and enabling people to have a beautiful and fully-equipped kitchen in their own garden. Our gardens are a sanctuary where we can spend 10 minutes, an hour or a whole day simply escaping from the world and enjoying the company of friends and family.

Our vision was to ensure that the person who takes on the role of the chef for your al fresco dinner party is able to create their signature dish without having to disappear every few minutes to fetch ingredients or monitor a side dish. If you’ve ever excitedly planned a grand BBQ for your favourite people and then realised you didn’t get the chance to enjoy the company until you sat down, you’ll know what we mean!

A successful and exciting 2019

We’re so proud of the amazing collection of CENA outdoor kitchens that were installed in 2019. With features such as side burners, kamado grills, wood-fired ovens and dual grills our customers can create multiple dishes for their guests. The integrated fridges and sinks ensure people can safely prepare seafood, meat and fresh salad without beating a constant path to the fridge inside. What’s more, our kitchens are simply stunning to look at. We think that deserves a pat on the back!

It seems that it isn’t just the CENA team and our customers who think that our outdoor kitchens are worthy of a spot in the loveliest gardens. We were proud and delighted to be featured in the Sunday Times (twice!) as well as several leading national interiors publications in 2019. Keep your eyes peeled for more of the same over the coming months...

Our other adventures in 2019 included our first outdoor cooking series with professional chef and TV presenter Mark Lloyd, which you can take a look at here, and taking our induction hob kitchen to the Holiday Park and Resort Innovation Show at the NEC in Birmingham.

Looking ahead to 2020 and beyond

Our design and build teams are already busy working on outdoor kitchen designs for our customers who are keen to have their new toy in place ready for the first warm days of summer. We've also been on the road meeting new customers and undertaking site surveys for new projects. We're hoping to take our outdoor kitchen to some food festivals over the summer and share more exciting outdoor cooking ideas with you! After all, here at CENA we really are committed to helping people enjoy fantastic food in their very own garden. why not drop us a line?
